Usually, any drink named after a donkey (cough cough) is something I would try to avoid, but there are exceptions to every rule. I first had a Moscow Mule at the Tipsy Pig, and although I'm not too fond of anything ginger, I immediatlely fell in love. Of course, paying $12 for a drink is not my jam, so I decided to recreate it at home. . .
It was even better.
The Moscow Mule [adapted from PS FOOD]
1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
2 ounces vodka
4 to 6 ounces ginger beer
Cucumber and lime for garnish
- Squeeze lime juice into a Collins glass or moscow mule mug.
-Add a handful of ice cubes and 2 ounces of vodka, then fill with ginger beer.
-Garnish with lime and cucumber slices.
