{gp} ever think about your scent?

here's a little guest Post by my sister Han!!! enjoy.

Ever think about your scent?

‘Kay, so this might sound strange, but the biggest compliment for me is when someone comments on my smell. No no, not those comments I get after sweating out about 3 gallons of water and whatever else at a bikram yoga class, but when I actually remember to spray on that perfume I bought after accumulating several gift cards and someone says “ah you smell good”. I don’t know what it is that gets me about such a compliment. Perfume is such a refined detail among your entire style, in fact its invisible, and if someone can notice the unseen, boy imagine what else can see! Either that, or they’re just one of those few people who can literally smell anything and everything (my sister!.. and my dog) As my mom always taught, it’s important to have a signature scent, something you can always be recognized by and a little something you can leave behind. Ever notice how you can tell which white v-neck is yours or your friends by smelling it? No? Anyways, it has taken me several years, bottles, and many wanders through perfume departments to finally find my sig: Coco Eau De Parfume (classic bottle) by Chanel. As my leading lady, Coco Chanel, once said: “A woman who does not wear perfume has no future.” So, whats your smell??

PS: many studies have also shown that scent and attraction go hand in hand (The Smell of Love:http://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/200910/the-smell-love). Also, scent can trigger memories, emotions, and performance (Smell and Memory: http://health.howstuffworks.com/human-body/systems/nose-throat/smell3.htm). Well, looks like perfume is the answer to being attractive and memorable. Perhaps, this is what Coco meant.
