remember when you would try to trade your carrots for these at lunch? 

The perfect little bar for a snack, dessert, pot luck, whatever your little heart desires! 

Supplies: Big bowl, 9x13 baking dish, big wooden spoon 

Ingredients: 1 box brown rice crisps cereal, 1 3/4 cups brown rice syrup, fine sea salt, 3/4 cup of peanut butter, 1/2 cup carob chips/vegan chips OR normal chocolate chips



-Pour rice cereal into a large bowl. Heat the syrup with a pinch of salt in a saucepan over low heat. When the rs liquefies, add the peanut butter and stir until well combined. Pour over the rice cereal and mix well with the wooden spoon.

-Once mixed throughly and cooled to room temp, stir in the chocolate chips. Make sure the mixture is cool, or you will end up with melted chocolate instead of chocolate chips.

-Turn the mixture into the 9x13 baking dish and lightly press the mixture evenly into the pan. Let cool for an hour (if you can!) Cut into squares or bars :)  

ps: you never woulda guessed they are 100% vegan.
